Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Asset Manager for its healthcare estate at Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester. You will own asset management across a complex PFI and consortium environment, shaping how assets are maintained, planned, and data-driven decisions are made to support safe, efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, deploy, and manage site specific Asset Lifecycle Management (LAMP) strategies to optimise asset performance and longevity.
  • Maintain and update the asset register to data standards and enable change data integration with Global Maximo.
  • Manage relationships with PFI consortium Lifecycle Partners and key stakeholders.
  • Use data analysis and scenario modelling to support decision making and risk assessment.
  • Lead the training and development of teams involved in asset management.
  • Ensure adherence to data management, change control protocols, and NHS obligations, with regular auditing.
  • Prepare detailed reports, guidance documentation, and policies."

Asset Manager

£50,000 Per annum

40 Hours Per Week

Monday to Friday

Location is Wythenshawe Hospital, Southmoor Road, Wythenshawe, M23 9LT

Experience in a complex PFI and Consortium Environment – Beneficial

Are you ready to take ownership of asset management across one of the UK's largest healthcare estates? Wythenshawe Hospital is looking for an experienced Asset Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping how critical assets are managed, maintained, and planned for the future. Working closely with engineering, project, compliance, and operational teams, you'll ensure asset information, maintenance schedules, and project handovers are captured accurately and transformed into meaningful data that supports the safe and efficient running of the hospital.

This is an opportunity to make a visible impact, influence long term asset strategy, and help drive continuous improvement across a complex and evolving healthcare environment.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop, deploy, and manage site specific Asset Lifecycle Management (LAMP) strategies to optimise asset performance and longevity
  • Maintain and update the asset register in accordance with data standards, collaborating with project teams to enable seamless change data integration into Global Maximo
  • Manage relationships with PFI consortium Lifecycle Partners and key stakeholders to ensure effective asset management and project delivery
  • Use data analysis and scenario modelling to support decision making, risk assessment, and the development of strategic recommendations for asset interventions
  • Lead the training and development of teams involved in asset management to enhance skills and ensure compliance with organisational objectives
  • Ensure adherence to data management, change control protocols, and NHS Condition B obligations, with regular auditing and continuous improvement of asset management systems
  • Prepare detailed reports, guidance documentation, and policies to support asset management objectives and organisational compliance
  • Demonstrate strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and project management tools, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and data
