Job summary

Eclipse Power Networks is seeking an Asset Management Engineer to support the Asset Management function and lead the wider Asset Operations team in delivering an optimised asset management strategy. The role aims to align to ISO 55001 and build the framework from the ground up.

You will help set policy, implement maintenance routines, and co-own the EAM platform while driving innovation in asset management practices. The position includes on-call duties and collaboration across internal teams.

Qualifications

• Hold a level 4 or above qualification in an engineering discipline i.e HNC/HND, FD Eng.
• Good knowledge of legislation relating to utility assets and safety requirements
• Ability to analyse data and inform strategic decisions
• Proficient in Microsoft 365, project management software (Monday.com) and EAM systems (Ultimo)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Desirable experience in IDNO/DNO/TO or renewables

Responsibilities

• Manage key asset documentation such as OEM data and historic asset data.
• Create and manage Work Orders on EAM relating to Asset Operations.
• Develop the Strategic Asset Management Plan and maintain policy/procedures.
• Ensure supply chains are maintained with equipment suppliers.
• Manage asset valuation and replacement costing data for insurance.
• Support with OEM/NEDeRS notifications related process limitations.
• Maintain KPIs for asset performance.
• Gain knowledge of legislation for high/low voltage networks.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call for incident management post training.
• Digitise and log geospatial asset information to GIS for NUAR goals.
• Assist with implementing new technologies for asset condition monitoring.
