Job Title: Asset Maintenance - Field Performance Manager

We are recruiting a Field Performance Manager responsible for the safe, compliant operation and maintenance of all ICA assets and technician health and safety within a specific geographical area for the wastewater function. The role also emphasizes efficiency, productivity, standards, and quality to ensure compliance and effectiveness within the water sector.

You will lead, manage, and develop a team of approximately 20 members, focusing on performance, resources, and budgets with an emphasis on succession planning. The role involves 25% people management and 75% operational management.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing a budget of approximately £2 million
  • Overseeing capital delivery projects upon completion
  • Monitoring performance of ICA assets across around 1200 sites
  • Following established procedures related to finance and information requests
  • Setting and achieving annual targets in collaboration with the Area Manager
  • Routine problem solving using experience and judgment
  • Addressing customer issues and site failures, escalating incidents such as pollution as needed
  • Driving change and innovation to improve compliance and productivity
  • Communicating effectively with the team and stakeholders
  • Collaborating with other District Managers on contract issues and improvements
  • Engaging with external customers to notify and resolve issues
  • Managing contractor engagement risks
