Job summary

Insight Executive Group Limited is recruiting for an Asset Investment Manager with responsibility for leading a team within a Northamptonshire-based local authority asset management function. The role focuses on delivering the annual asset investment programme, managing Disrepair/DMC and complex cases, and ensuring best-in-class contract performance while upholding value for money.

The position offers hybrid working, a local government pension scheme, and requires CIOB or RICS accreditation.

Responsibilities

Oversee a team to manage caseload in Disrepair/DMC and complex issues.
Act as Expert Witness when necessary.
Lead asset investment team to deliver the annual client asset investment programme with customers first in all activities.
Ensure effective and consistent management of contracts for asset investment and support the delivery of compliance contracts.
Lead and support a team to achieve excellent customer service and operational performance through asset investment.
Ensure consistent contract management, performance management and budgetary control across projects.
Foster continuous learning and customer service and operational improvement.
Be accountable for performance improvement, service development and asset investment decisions to meet local demand and deliver value for money.
