Job summary

Pin Point Health is recruiting an Asset Integrity & Reliability Engineer for a major manufacturing site in Shotton. The role focuses on owning asset reliability, reducing unplanned downtime and delivering data-led maintenance actions in a fast-paced process environment.

You will work with maintenance, operations and engineering teams to develop risk-based maintenance plans, surveys and improvement programmes, using RCA, FMEA and RCM to enhance MTBF and plant availability.

Qualifications

• HNC or higher in engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing/high-volume environments.
• Knowledge of FMEA, RCA and RCM.
• Experience with preventative maintenance, CMMS scheduling and condition monitoring.
• Strong planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate data into practical maintenance actions.

Responsibilities

• Develop risk-based preventive maintenance plans.
• Carry out asset condition, criticality and obsolescence surveys.
• Maintain an Asset Risk Register and drive improvement plans.
• Apply RCA, FMEA and RCM to improve MTBF.
• Develop condition-monitoring techniques (vibration, thermography, lubrication).
• Plan and coordinate shutdowns and outages.
• Review spares and improve inventory accuracy.
• Support capital projects with scopes and business cases.
• Coach operators in autonomous maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
