Job summary

Pin-Point-Recruitment is seeking an Asset Integrity & Reliability Engineer for a major manufacturing site in Shotton, Flintshire. You will own asset reliability, drive proactive maintenance, and reduce unplanned downtime through data-led condition monitoring and RCA/RCM techniques.

Key tasks include developing risk-based preventative maintenance plans, surveys, maintaining an Asset Risk Register, coordinating shutdowns, and coaching operators in autonomous maintenance while ensuring health,

Qualifications

• HNC or higher qualification in engineering.
• Experience in a manufacturing/process environment.
• Knowledge of reliability tools such as FMEA, RCA and RCM.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and CMMS scheduling.
• Strong planning and analytical skills; able to turn data into actionable maintenance tasks.
• Good communication across multiple departments; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Develop risk-based preventative maintenance plans.
• Complete asset condition, criticality and obsolescence surveys.
• Maintain an Asset Risk Register and implement improvement plans.
• Use RCA, FMEA and RCM to improve reliability and MTBF.
• Introduce and develop condition-monitoring techniques (vibration, thermography, lubrication).
• Plan and coordinate maintenance shutdowns and line outages.
• Review critical spares and improve inventory availability.
• Support capital projects with scopes and business cases.
• Coach operators in basic asset care and autonomous maintenance.
• Ensure work meets health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
