Job summary

Avtrade, a leading global aircraft component service provider, is seeking an Asset Inventory professional in Hassocks. You will monitor and optimise stock levels to meet fast-moving aviation demand, collaborating with procurement and operations across the business.

This full-time role offers training and clear career progression within a dynamic team. The role requires a proactive inventory mindset, at least 1 year in a similar environment, and knowledge of purchasing processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management within a fast-moving parts environment.
• Knowledge of purchasing processes and supplier coordination.
• Understanding of IPCs and alternative part numbers is beneficial.
• Familiarity with aircraft components and airworthiness concepts is advantageous.
• Ability to review teardowns and large package purchases.

This is a full time position, working 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday.

An interesting and challenging role working in a fast-paced environment within the vibrant Procurement team. You will have the opportunity to communicate across all levels of the business, developing internal relationships whilst assisting to drive the business forward and develop your own career by building on your skills and knowledge.

Function:

The Asset Team are responsible for the management and control of Avtrade inventory. The role will be to r eview and monitor customer demand to ensure optimum inventory levels are achieved to support Avtrade’s business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Analyse inventory addition requests for stock and specific customer requirements
• Maintain optimum inventory levels to support Avtrade business
• Co-ordinate with internal departments to ensure stock is maximised to full potential
• Assist with review and management of aircraft teardowns & large package purchases
• Adhere to Avtrade processes and procedures

Requirements:

• Preferably at least 1 years experience gained in an inventory management environment
• Knowledge of purchasing and inventory management processes
• Good understanding of aircraft components beneficial
• Understand IPC’s, alternative part numbers and aircraft effectivity beneficial
• Awareness of component condition, certification, and airworthiness regulations beneficial
