Job summary

DBD International is seeking a Systems/Plant Engineer to bridge operations and asset management data initiatives. You will cleanse, enrich and migrate asset data, align hierarchies and governance, and work with site stakeholders to improve data quality and enable system implementations.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent technical experience.
• Demonstrable experience with plant, engineering, maintenance or asset management data.
• Experience with asset management or maintenance management systems.
• Experience with site-based engagement with engineering, maintenance or operations stakeholders.
• Knowledge of asset hierarchies, equipment records, maintenance strategies and data governance principles.
• Experience with data cleansing, validation, standardisation and migration activities.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including workshop facilitation.
• Experience supporting system implementation, data migration, testing or organisational change would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Act as the interface between the transformation programme and assigned operational site(s).
• Build effective working relationships with engineering, maintenance, operations, asset management and project teams.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and working sessions to understand site-specific asset management processes and data usage.
• Collaborate with SMEs to resolve data, process and system-related issues.
• Lead data cleansing, validation, enrichment and standardisation for migration readiness.
• Ensure asset hierarchies, equipment records and maintenance data meet governance standards.
• Identify and rectify data quality gaps, inconsistencies and duplicates.
• Provide engineering insight to accurately represent plant and asset data in the target system.
• Support data migration readiness, testing and deployment activities.
