Job summary

MAG Manchester Airports Group is seeking a data specialist to lead the improvement and management of asset records, including Maximo data and non-spatial records, across MAG. You will drive data accuracy, contribute to standards and strategy, and use Power BI for analysis and reporting.

We value strong IT skills, experience with Maximo, and knowledge of data governance. The role supports hybrid working from East Midlands Airport and surrounding MAG operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with Maximo CMMS and asset data management.
• Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in Power BI.
• Knowledge of data standards and information governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the improvement and ongoing management of MAG's asset data including Maximo based data.
• Update Maximo-based data and non-spatial records and ensure accuracy.
• Support development of MAG data and information standards and strategy.
• Apply IT skills and Power BI to data analysis and reporting; familiarity with project/resource management is a plus.

What will make you successful in the role?

You’ll lead the improvement and on-going management of MAG's asset data including Maximo based data, other non-spatial data and 'off system' asset records. You'll develop and lead an improvement of Maximo based asset data consistency across MAG and act as a Maximo super-user. You'll update the existing processes and systems to ensure accurate and complete asset records. You'll also contribute and assist the development of MAG data and information related standards and strategy. You'll be an experienced Maximo practitioner (or other Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) with excellent IT skills including knowledge & experience in using Microsoft office for data analysis etc. You'll also ideally have experience of Power BI (or similar) and you'll ideally have project management experience and/or resource management experience too.
