Job summary

Evri is seeking an Asset Control Manager to join the Forecasting & Planning team. The role covers governance, control and optimisation of operational assets across the network, with base at a hub in Rugby or other locations.

You will work on-site most weeks, with travel across the network to balance demand and asset availability. Key activities include analysing movements, supporting asset forecasting, producing dashboards and coordinating with multiple teams to drive efficiency and cost

• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse asset movements, utilisation, losses and variances.
• Support forecasting of asset requirements across BAU, peak and growth.

• Lead asset reconciliations and investigate variances.

We’re hiring | Asset Control Manager | Barnsley, Warrington or Rugby

£44,500 – £49,500 + Car Allowance + Benefits

We’re looking for an Asset Control Manager to join our Forecasting & Planning team at Evri Group, taking a network-wide approach to the governance, control and optimisation of our operational assets.

The role can be based at any of our hubs in Barnsley, Warrington or Rugby. You’ll be expected to work on-site at your designated hub for the majority of the week, with regular travel across our wider network as required.

This is a role with real reach across the business. You’ll work across our hubs, depots, delivery units and client operations, using data and operational insight to improve asset visibility, strengthen controls and ensure our asset requirements are aligned with both current and future network demand.

The role will include:

• Analysing asset movements, utilisation, losses and variances to identify trends and risks.
• Supporting forecasting of asset requirements across BAU, Peak and future network growth.
• Working with Forecasting & Planning, Operations and Commercial teams to align asset availability with operational demand.
• Producing reporting, dashboards and insight to support operational decision-making.
• Leading asset reconciliations and investigating significant variances.
• Improving asset utilisation and identifying opportunities to reduce loss and replacement costs.
• Supporting asset deployment and procurement planning.
• Driving continuous improvement across asset planning, controls and reporting.

We’re looking for someone who is analytical, commercially aware and comfortable operating across a complex network, with experience across planning, asset management, inventory/stock control, supply chain or logistics operations.

Strong Excel and data analysis skills are important, alongside the ability to turn information into meaningful recommendations and influence operational stakeholders across the business.
