Job summary

Warburtons at the Bellshill bakery is seeking an Asset Care Lead to join a 4‑engineer day team, in a highly automated FMCG environment. You’ll lead the day shift, handle both mechanical and electrical planned and reactive maintenance, and act as a first line escalation point for onsite issues.

Reporting to the Site Engineer Manager and collaborating with the Group Engineering Manager, you will drive the Asset Care Strategy, plan shutdown work with the PPM Co-ordinator, and ensure safety, quality

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment delivering site maintenance plans.
• Knowledge of safety standards and food industry compliance.
• Proven leadership of a days-based engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 4 day-based Engineers and act as escalation point for onsite issues.
• Perform 70% hands-on mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with Site Engineer Manager and Group Engineering Manager to meet Asset Care Strategy.
