Job summary

Impellam is seeking an Interviewer/Assessor to guide candidates through the assessment process in an unbiased, friendly environment. The role involves delivering cognitive assessments under test conditions, applying a detailed marking guide, and providing feedback on performance and next steps.

Expect a 37.5 hour week, a 7-day shift pattern including overnight chaperone and on-call duties once per week. The position requires good communication, mentoring abilities, organisational skills and a

• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• The ability to nurture and mentor candidates.
• Excellent Team Player.
• Familiarity with Army Careers would be an advantage.
• Organised approach.

Responsibilities

• Briefing and delivering all cognitive assessment activities under test conditions.
• Contributing to an un-biased test environment for all assessment activities.
• Assessing candidates against fixed criteria.
• Providing feedback on a candidate's performance at assessment, their assessment outcome and their next steps in the recruitment process.
• Conducting individual career discussions with candidates.
• Writing accurate reports to assist recruiters and Basic Training Instructors to understand the candidate's strengths and weaknesses.
