Job summary

Saïd Business School in Oxford is seeking an Assessment Manager to oversee end-to-end assessment for a portfolio of degree and diploma programmes, ensuring examinations, assignments and related processes run accurately and on time.

You will collaborate with Programme Directors, Examiners and central University teams, provide authoritative guidance on assessment policies, and lead improvements to assessment systems while maintaining strict regulatory compliance and a high-quality student

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong knowledge of assessment policies, regulations and procedures.
• Ability to provide authoritative guidance to students, academics and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver assessment activities throughout the academic year.
• Manage assessment systems, records and data in line with regulations.
• Coordinate examinations, marking processes and Examination Boards.
• Provide expert advice on assessment policies and individual queries.
• Handle sensitive assessment matters in line with data protection requirements.
• Support continuous improvement of assessment processes and contribute to projects.
