Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking an Assembly / Workshop Technician in Abingdon for a days-based role. You will read engineering drawings, assemble parts for manufacturing projects, and perform basic inspections within a small team.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 7am–3pm, offering a good work-life balance and progression opportunities. We welcome candidates with a background in manufacturing or similar, who can commute to Abingdon and contribute to a quality-focused assembly process.

In this varied role you will follow engineering drawings and instructions to assemble parts for manufacturing projects, in addition to using hand tools and undertaking associated project based work such as testing and basic inspections. You will work within the tight-knit assembly team of 3 in addition to liaising with logistics, quality and other departments.

This permanent, local role would suit an Assembly Technician or similar looking for a days-based, Monday-Friday position within a long standing company who offer a nice work environment and a bonus to increase your earnings.
