Job summary

Red Bull Advanced Technologies in Milton Keynes is seeking an Assembly Technician to join the RBAT Assembly Group. You will build, service and maintain assemblies to the highest standards, reading complex engineering drawings and supporting on-site and event needs.

The role requires a zero-fault ethos, ability to interpret drawings, use Word/Excel, and a flexible approach to shifts. Travel to events may be required; offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates high level technical understanding and assembly experience.
• Able to confidently read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with electronic business systems.

Responsibilities

• Build, service and maintain assemblies to the highest standards and latest documentation.
• Manage build specifications and component lifing per Production Control instructions.
• Operate with a zero fault ethos and report quality issues via the Faults System.
• Support the Assembly Group and collaborate with team members.
• Be flexible to shifts and travel to events as required.

The same tools, techniques and methods used to win the development race that is F1 are applied to engineering challenges across land, sea and air at blistering pace.Based at our Milton Keynes campus you will be responsible for supporting the operation of the Assembly Group, covering all aspects of build, service and maintenance, both at the factory and ‘on event’ support as required. You will meet the highest standards in all areas of quality, commitment and conduct.Essential criteria required for our Assembly Technician Role:- Ensure all assemblies are built to drawing, operated and maintained to the highest industry standards and in line with the latest technical documentation.- Manage all build specification, up revisions and component lifing in accordance with Production Control and Technical Operations instructions.- Operate to a ‘zero fault’ working ethos.- Communicate assembly related quality issues to the appropriate key stakeholders ensuring faults/NCR’s are recorded via the internal business Faults System.- Become an integral member of the Assembly Group team, providing support to all team members and promoting open discussion with members throughout the business.- Assist with other activities deemed appropriate by the RBAT Assembly Team Leader or RBAT Assembly Projects Manager.Key Attributes of the Assembly Technician candidate:- Demonstrate a high level of technical understanding and a wide range of assembly experience.- Able to confidently read and interpret complex engineering technical drawings.- Provide a flexible approach towards working hours which may include working occasional shifts to meet company objectives.- Travel to events to support RBAT activities as required.- Ensure a good level of personal fitness is maintained to carry out duties in a physically demanding and fast paced environment.- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and experience of using electronic business system.Not only is this a fantastic Assembly Technician role, but it is also a fantastic team to work with here at Red Bull Advanced Technologies.
