Job summary

A well-established manufacturing company in Ossett is seeking an Assembly Operative/Assembler to join their busy factory. This permanent role follows a 3-month probation as a temporary agency worker and offers progression for reliable performers.

You will work with hand and power tools, reading assembly diagrams and following engineers’ instructions to ensure high-quality output. Salary is £13.00 per hour with overtime where available.

Qualifications

• Experience in hands-on assembly in manufacturing/production environments.
• Ability to follow diagrams and engineer instructions to assemble products.
• Experience using a wide variety of hand and power tools.
• Available to start ASAP or with short notice period.

Responsibilities

• Position, align and fit manufactured parts to form complete units or sub-units.
• Follow engineering assembly drawings.
• Utilise hand and power tools to assemble products with consistent quality.
• Perform other duties as reasonably requested by management.
