Qualifications

Desirable: qualification in manufacturing/engineering.
Desirable: health and safety or manufacturing process training.

Responsibilities

Assemble components and sub-assemblies according to work instructions and specs.
Carry out mechanical assembly tasks with correct fit and alignment.
Use hand tools and basic workshop equipment safely to complete assembly.
Perform quality checks during and after assembly to meet required standards.
Identify and report defects or issues promptly.
Maintain a clean, organized workstation (5S).
Complete production documentation including batch/traceability records.
Follow health and safety procedures and PPE usage.
Support continuous improvement to improve efficiency and quality.

Required Skills andamp; Qualifications

Previous experience in an assembly or production environment (manufacturing or similar).

Good understanding of quality principles, including in-process checks and defect identification.
Ability to read and follow technical documentation such as work instructions and assembly procedures.
Basic understanding of mechanical assembly methods and correct component handling.
Good communication skills and a team-focused approach to working on the shop floor.
Commitment to health and safety, including following risk controls and using PPE correctly.
Willingness to learn and develop, with a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement.
Relevant qualification in manufacturing, engineering, or a related discipline (desirable).
Any recognised training in health and safety or manufacturing processes (desirable).
