Job summary

Adecco in Wantage is seeking an Assembly Technician for a temporary assignment. You will build, inspect and test sub-assemblies, follow procedures and maintain records, and prepare finished radar products for shipment while keeping the workshop organized in a safe environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in a production role, strong SOP understanding, attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to lift up to 20 kg, working well within a team.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in a Production Technician or similar role.
• Experience working within a production environment.
• Good understanding of SOPs and ability to follow detailed work instructions and test processes.

About You

We're looking for someone who is proactive, practical and detail-focused, with the ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team.

You will ideally have:

• At least 2 years' experience working as a Production Technician or in a similar production-based role.


• Experience working within a production environment.


• A good understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the ability to follow detailed work instructions and test processes.


• Strong attention to detail.


• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.


• A pragmatic approach to problem-solving and prioritising tasks.


• Good IT literacy.


• The ability to independently lift and carry items weighing up to 20kg.
