Job summary

McLaren Composites in Catcliffe, Rotherham, is recruiting 20 Assembly team members with quality experience. Shifts run Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm on a rotating weekly basis. Temporary for 12 weeks with potential for permanent roles.

Pay starts at £14.94 per hour for up to 37.5 hours, with overtime at £22.40 and Sundays/bank holidays at £29.87. Full training is provided; some experience in similar environments would be beneficial.

• Experience in assembly and quality checking preferred.

• Follow a defined assembly process as part of a team.
• Quality check each stage to ensure high standards.
• Move car body parts using manual handling and lifting aids and trollies.
• Adhere to site health and safety at all times.
• High attention to detail and a proactive attitude.

Gi group are looking for 20 Assembly team members with quality experience to join our team At McLaren Composites in Catcliffe, Rotherham.

Working Monday to Friday 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm rotating weekly

Pay rate:-

£14.94 up to 37.5 hours worked

£22.40 after 37.5 hours worked and Saturdays

£29.87 Sundays and bank holidays

Full training is provided but some experience in similar environments would be beneficial.

These roles are temporary for the initial 12 weeks with potential permanent roles available.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Working as part of a team to follow a process
• Quality checking each stage of the process to ensure every step is to the highest of standards
• Manoeuvring car body parts around the factory using a combination of manual handling and lifting aids and trollies
• Adhering to site health and safety at all times
• High attention to detail and quality standards
• Confident and professional always
• Willing to learn
