Job summary

GI Group are recruiting 20 Assembly team members to join McLaren Composites in Catcliffe, Rotherham. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm on a rotating basis.

Pay rates start at £13.98 per hour up to 37.5 hours (AM), rising to £14.94 for rotating shifts, with overtime £22.40 on Saturdays and £29.87 on Sundays/bank holidays. Full training is provided, some experience in similar environments would be beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly/production environments preferred.
• Quality checking at each stage of the process required.
• Ability to follow processes and adhere to safety rules.

• Move car body parts using manual handling and lifting aids.

Job description

Gi group are looking for 20 Assembly team members with quality experience to join our team At McLaren Composites in Catcliffe, Rotherham.

Working Monday to Friday 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm rotating weekly

Pay rate:-

£13.98 up to 37.5 hours worked (AM shift only)

£14.94 up to 37.5 hours worked (rotating shift pattern)

£22.40 after 37.5 hours worked and Saturdays

£29.87 Sundays and bank holidays

Full training is provided but some experience in similar environments would be beneficial.

These roles are temporary for the initial 12 weeks with potential permanent roles available.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Working as part of a team to follow a process
• Quality checking each stage of the process to ensure every step is to the highest of standards
• Manoeuvring car body parts around the factory using a combination of manual handling and lifting aids and trollies
• Adhering to site health and safety at all times
• High attention to detail and quality standards
• Confident and professional always
• Willing to learn
