Job description

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Assembly Operator based in Milton Keynes to join one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing supplier who values their team.

Summary of the Assembly Operator role

Salary: 30,000 per annum

Location: Milton Keynes

Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm, Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm

Responsibilities of the Assembly Operator

• Apply hinges, locks, door handles, and other ironmongery onto doors.
• Pre-hang doors onto frames for quality checking.
• Use of power tools.
• Conduct quality checks before shipping.

Requirements for a Successful Assembly Operator

• Experience and confidence using power tools and working with hands.
• Able to lift and manoeuvre heavy goods.
• Comfortable working in noisy environments (ear protection provided).
• A forklift licence would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
