Job summary

Vibe Recruit is recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a specialist equipment manufacturer in the United Kingdom. You will build, test and inspect assemblies, using hand and power tools, and ensure workmanship meets strict quality standards. The role is not high-volume, so attention to detail is essential.

Further training and development are available to help you grow within the manufacturing team. Excellent teamwork, the ability to read drawings, and a proactive approach to prioritising

Qualifications

• Hands-on manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read drawings and follow work instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong prioritisation and problem-solving abilities.

Assembly Operative

Due to continued growth and customer demand a specialist equipment manufacturer, of high value products, is now available for a good Assembly Operative / Technician, to join a skilled team of Engineers, Technicians and manufacturing staff.

Main Duties:

• The build, test and inspection of assemblies.
• The use of hand and power tools
• Adopt good workmanship and Quality standards.
• Carry out assembly duties in a timely manner.
• Assist in other areas of the manufacturing process when required.
• Maintain tools and equipment in a clean and tidy state.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous hands-on manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience
• Experience and understanding of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read drawings, follow work instructions and procedures would be advantageous.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Able to prioritise work and be a capable problem solver

This is not a high-volume manufacturing environment and attention to detail is key!
