Job summary

Contract Personnel Ltd are recruiting an Assembly Operator on behalf of a client in the manufacturing sector. You will assist in producing sheet metal components and assemble soundproofing containers using hand and air tools.

Based in Thetford area, the role runs Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm with weekly pay. A temporary-to-permanent opportunity and PPE provided. Induction at office before starting.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly or metalwork.
• Ability to use hand and air tools.
• Willingness to work near welding areas and follow PPE guidelines.

Overview

Contract Personnel are working on behalf of one of their most sought-after clients who are looking for an Assembly Operator to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the production of sheet metal work
• Manufacturing soundproofing containers
• Using various hand and air tools
• Working close to welding areas (protective gloves and goggles provided)
• Using fibreglass to line containers
• Carrying out any other duties as required

Pay Rate

• £12.75 per hour

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00am - 3:30pm

Contract

• Temporary to Permanent opportunity for the right candidate

Additional Information

• ASAP starts available for the right candidates
• An induction is required prior to starting, conducted at our office
