Job summary

Proactive Global in St Albans is seeking an Assembly Operative to join a fast-paced production team. The role focuses on mechanical assembly, fitting parts, and following detailed diagrams to ensure quality workmanship.

The successful candidate will work 08:00am–16:00pm, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, earning £13.00–£14.56 per hour. Immediate start available for this on-site position.

• Ability to follow assembly diagrams and instructions.

Job description

Position: Assembly Operative

Location: St Albans

Salary: £13.00ph - £14.56ph

Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours per week - 08:00am - 16:00pm, Monday to Friday

Proactive are currently in search of multiple experienced mechanical assemblers to start work immediately for a client of ours in St Albans. The successful candidate will be working as part of a team within the production area, and should have previous assembly experience working within a faced paced manufacturing environment.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Mechanical Assembly
• Fitting of parts and components
• Use of hand tools, with some use of electrical hand tools
• Ability to understand assembly diagrams
• Cooperate and work with all other production staff
• Ensure all operations are complete and done correctly
