Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Agency is seeking an Assembly Operative in Ringwood to build electrical and mechanical assemblies to a high standard. You will follow clear written instructions and perform stripping, crimping and soldering with accuracy.

The role offers set day shifts and full on-the-job training in a relaxed, informal environment. You will gain hands-on experience across wiring, mechanical assembly and machine operation while wearing safety footwear and eye protection provided by the

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical assembly, wiring or manufacturing.
• Soldering experience, or a strong interest in learning.
• Confident reading and following written instructions.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Building wiring and cable assemblies, including stripping, crimping and cutting cables.
• Soldering components and connections to a consistent, high standard.
• Completing mechanical assembly using a range of hand tools.
• Operating machinery used to cut, strip and crimp cable.
• Following detailed written build instructions accurately.
• Kitting parts in the stores area and supporting on-site testing.

Assembly Operative, Ringwood, £12.71 per hour
