Job summary

Koin Limited in Holton Heath, United Kingdom, is seeking a meticulous machine operator to join our growing manufacturing team. You will pick components, assemble products to exact standards, and complete builds within SLA while maintaining accurate on-system records.

You will also de-kit and move stock as required, support other production tasks when needed, and follow all SOPs and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process daily work orders set by Assembly & Stock Control Manager
• Pick components for each work order
• Assemble products into packaging to required standard
• Complete builds within SLA
• Record picks, builds, de-kits and moves on the system
• Flag shortages, damage or wrong items to the manager
• Carry out de-kits and stock moves as allocated
• Support other production tasks when understaffed or busy

Job description

1. Role Details

Purpose: Pick, build and complete assembly work orders and de-kits, accurately and within SLA. The Assembly

& Stock Control Manager sets which work orders are due; this role carries out the work. Also provides backup

cover across production and logistics.

2. Key Responsibilities

Work orders & assembly builds

• Work through the daily work order list set by the Assembly & Stock Control Manager
• Pick the correct components for each work order
• Assemble products into packaging to the required standard
• Complete builds within SLA
• Flag any problem (shortage, damage, wrong item) to the manager straight away

De-kits & stock moves

• Complete de-kits as allocated
• Carry out stock moves within the production area when asked

Accuracy & system recording

• Record picks, builds, de-kits and moves correctly on the system
• Check quantities and components before completing each job
• Follow precious metal handling and handover procedures where metal is involved
• Keep the assembly area clean, tidy and organised

Backup cover

• Support other production tasks when the area is understaffed or busy, once trained
• Support logistics tasks (picking, packing, dispatch) when needed
• Follow all SOPs and H&S requirements in every area
