Job summary

Office Angels is recruiting for an Assembly Operative on the outskirts of Ashford. Driving is required due to the location. The role is temporary to permanent with a starting pay of £13.33 per hour and overtime at higher rates.

You will operate saws and machinery to cut products, assemble the final goods, and have opportunities to learn other areas of the business as it grows. Weekly pay and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with physical, manual work. Must be able to lift up to 25kg.
• Experience using handheld tools, assembly, production, woodwork or labouring.
• Safety boots and hi-vis attire required for this role.
• Counterbalance forklift desirable.

Job description

We are recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join our well established client based on the outskirts of Ashford. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career with a truly supportive manager.

Location: Outskirts of Ashford (must drive due to location)

Contract: Temporary to permanent

Salary: £13.33 + over time available paid at higher rates

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-5:45pm, finishing at 4:15pm on Fridays

Duties:

• As an Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for using saws and machinery to cut products


• You will also be responsible for assembling the product


• Due to the size of the business, you will have the opportunity to be trained in other areas, such as assembly.
