Job summary

The Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking an Assembly Operative in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. This temporary position offers hands-on work assembling products to blueprints, with a focus on quality and timely delivery.

Shifts are Mon-Tue 6am-3:45pm and Wed-Thu 6am-4pm, with a view to a permanent contract for the right candidate and opportunities within a busy manufacturing environment. Adecco is an Equal Opportunities Employer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in product assembly or a similar role.
• Good manual dexterity and physical fitness.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly of products according to blueprints, diagrams, or work instructions.
• Use a variety of hand tools safely and effectively.
• Follow written and verbal instructions with precision.
• Inspect finished products for quality, identifying and reporting any defects.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet targets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workstation.

Job Title: Assembly Operative
Contract Type: Temporary, with potential to be offered a permanent contract if you get on well.
Working hours: Monday & Tuesday, 6am-3:45pm, Wednesday & Thursday, 6am-4pm.
Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
