Job summary

Thrive-Group's client near Chippenham is actively recruiting an Assembly Engineer on a permanent basis. The role involves assembling products from technical drawings, testing assembled units and ensuring high standards of precision and quality.

The successful candidate will have heavy engineering experience, a good eye for detail and the ability to read drawings. Hydraulics/pneumatics experience and strong communication skills are beneficial; mechanical or electrical Level 3 or equivalent is

Qualifications

• Experience within a heavy engineering environment essential.
• A good eye for detail and the ability to solve problems and plan ahead.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
• Hydraulics, pneumatics and diagnostics experience beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with a variety of individuals.
• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Level 3 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products from technical drawings to high standards of precision and quality.
• Assemble complete units from drawings and parts.
• Test assembled systems and identify faults, rectifying where necessary.
• Ensure components are clean and ready for despatch.

Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client near Chippenham who are actively looking to recruitan Assembly Engineeron a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

• Assembly of a range of products ensuring they are built to high standards of precision and quality


• Working from technical drawings to assemble complete units


• Testing of assembled systems, identifying and rectifying faults where necessary


• Ensuring components are clean and ready for despatch

What you will need to succeed:

• Experience within a heavy engineering environment essential
