Job summary

Catering is recruiting for an Assembly Fitter in South Gloucestershire. The role runs a 45-hour week, with hours 7:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday, in a permanent position.

You will join a small warehouse and assembly team, using hand and power tools to assemble and fit furniture products. A full UK driving licence is ideal but not essential. In return, benefits include 30 days holiday, a pension, on-site parking, and lunches provided.

• Applicants may have upholstering experience, but not essential.

Assembly Fitter – up to £30,000 per annum plus overtime. Based in South Glos – Permanent position working 7am to 16:30pm (45 hrs per week) Mon to Fri. Benefits include 30 days holiday, Pension, On-site parking, Lunches provided.

We have a new and exciting opportunity for an Assembler / Furniture Technician / Warehouse Operator to join our successful client based in Pucklechurch, South Gloucestershire. Reporting to the Operations Manager and working as part of a small warehouse and assembly team, this role will suit someone who has strong practical and mechanical fitting skills, with the ability to use hand tools and power tools. A full UK driving licence would be ideal, but is not essential.

Duties of the Assembler will involve:

• Picking components to despatch to suppliers
• Processing of Goods In
• Assembling and fitting products to a high standard
• Some prototype and quality work
• General warehouse duties
• Liaising with customers

The successful Assembler will have previous experience working in an assembly or fitting role – either within a mechanical or production environment. Previous experience of upholstering furniture or similar would be ideal, however this is not essential. You will be able to produce work to a high standard, whilst also working to timescales. Ideally you will have a full driving licence, as there may be some requirement too go to customer sites, but not essential.
