Job summary

Aspire Personnel Ltd is recruiting two temps to start immediately for an assignment running to Christmas, with potential extension. The role is hands-on, supporting the production team and requires assembly experience along with the ability to read instructions from a computer.

You'll produce, test and calibrate products, use hand tools to assemble subassemblies, work to quality standards and follow health and safety guidelines. Full training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly and use of hand tools.
• Able to read engineering instructions from a computer.

Responsibilities

• Produce, test and calibrate products from engineering instructions to ensure compliance to quality standards.
• Proficiently use a variety of hand tools, to dismantle and assemble subassemblies and full instruments accurately to standard unit times and set deadlines.
• Consistently work within the guidelines laid down by Health and Safety requirements when manufacturing product to minimise risk of injury/accident.
• Configure products at point of sale to customer requirements following standard operating procedures.
• Ad hoc duties.
• Full training will be given.

The ideal person will have worked on an assembly, and can also read instructions from a computer.
