Job summary

Prime Appointments Ltd in Maldon is seeking an Assembler to join a growing manufacturing company. The role involves assembling components to drawings and work instructions, using hand and power tools, and adhering to quality standards.

The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing experience, eye for detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently. Temporary position with potential to become permanent, with a £12.90 per hour rate and weekday hours 7:00am–4:30pm.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in assembly, fabrication or hands-on manufacturing.
• Confidence using hand tools and power tools safely.
• Basic understanding of mechanical assembly and workplace safety.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical fitness to meet the demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Assembling components and subassemblies to drawings and work instructions.
• Using hand, power and pneumatic tools, including drills, screwdrivers and riveters.
• Measuring, cutting, fitting and securing components to the required specifications.
• Carrying out drilling, grinding, mechanical fastening and general fitting tasks.
• Checking your work to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.

We are recruiting for anAssembler to join a growing manufacturing company based in Maldon!

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous assembly, fabrication or hands-on manufacturing experience who is confident using hand and power tools.

You will be responsible for assembling components and subassemblies in line with technical drawings, work instructions and quality standards. The role involves practical, hands-on work, so a good eye for detail and a focus on producing quality work are essential.

What will you be doing?

• Assembling components and subassemblies to drawings and work instructions.

• Using hand, power and pneumatic tools, including drills, screwdrivers and riveters.
