AE Partners is seeking an assembler to read assembly drawings, identify components, and assemble oilfield completion products. You will test assemblies, troubleshoot issues, and maintain records in the business system.

The role emphasizes 5S, lean projects, PPE usage, and mandatory safety trainings. High school or vocational training is preferred, with basic to intermediate soldering skills expected.

Formación

• Minimum high school or equivalent.
• Vocational or trade school preferred.
• Basic to intermediate soldering experience.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret assembly drawings, procedures and follow written and oral instructions.
• Identify components and use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques, operate assembly equipment and tools.
• Accurately assemble oilfield completion products and tool assemblies.
• Test assembled products and tool assemblies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems with products and assemblies.
• Create labour records for all transactions in the relevant business system.
• Document records of work performed in the relevant business system.
• Perform daily 5S activities and participate in lean manufacturing projects.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines using written instructions and checklist.
• Wear PPE at all times and observe safety policies.
• Complete required safety trainings including crane, forklift, drugs and alcohol, electrical, emergency response, fire, first aid, health and hygiene, PPE, SIPP, risk reporting, IT security, hazardous materials, driving.

Working hours 7:00 am until 2:30 pm. There will be no shift work, however, we do foresee that overtime may be required. This will, however, be business dependant/ not guaranteed and will be dependant on their skillset, vs the production line that needs over time.

Mission

The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Key Functions:

• Identify components and use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques, operate assembly equipment and tools,
• Accurately assemble oilfield completion products and tool assemblies
• Test assembled products and tool assemblies
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with products and assemblies
• Create labour records for all transactions in the relevant business system
• Document records of work performed in the relevant business system
• Perform daily 5S activities and participate in lean manufacturing projects

Special Knowledge & Skills:

• Basic (intermediate level preferred) level of soldering skills including awareness of solder and flux theory, and practical experience of soldering related activities such as tinning, splicing, jenkin spring, turret soldering, crimping, etc
• Select correct tools, solder types and fixtures
