Hales Group is pleased to be working with a valued client in Diss to recruit an Assembly Operative for their Surface Mount Assembly Department. We are looking for a dedicated individual to join their dynamic electronics manufacturing team.

The Role:

You will be part of a fast-paced Surface Mount Electronics Department, where precision and quality are vital. Full training will be provided to support your development, whether you're experienced or a trainee.

Knowledge & Experience (Training provided):

• Experience operating Surface Mount Machines (Europlacer experience beneficial)
• Ability to read and understand assembly drawing packages
• Confidence in reading component markings
• Quality-conscious with strong attention to detail
• Experience with X-ray inspection and AOI is advantageous
• Knowledge of IPC standards
