Job summary

Adecco is seeking a reliable Assembler for our client in Braintree. The role involves cable assembly, testing, quality checks and light production support, with full training provided. 45-minute unpaid lunch, 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Own transport preferred due to location.

You will join the Cable Shop team, work to drawings and work orders, and contribute to timely production while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Weekly pay and benefits accompany a temp-to-perm pathway.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
• Experience with cables, wiring or electrical components would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cables and components to specification.
• Measure, cut, strip, crimp, solder and wrap cables.
• Follow work orders, technical drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Carry out electrical continuity and insulation testing.
• Complete visual quality inspections and report defects.
• Work to daily production schedules and quality standards.
• Complete relevant production documentation when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and use PPE as required.
• Assist with general production duties.
• Meet productivity targets set by the department.
