Job summary

Donnington Grove Veterinary Group in Newbury Berkshire is seeking a Student Veterinary Nurse to join our busy Equine Hospital. You will be supported and encouraged to develop both clinical and non-clinical skills while working towards qualification as a Registered Veterinary Nurse.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across nursing duties under the guidance of Veterinary Surgeons and Registered Veterinary Nurses, progressing through the training programme and building confidence in day-to-day

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, compassionate and motivated to learn and develop in veterinary nursing.
• Genuine interest in animal care and welfare with a proactive attitude.
• GCSEs in Maths, English and Science at grade 4/C or above.
• A full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support patient care under the guidance of Veterinary Surgeons and Registered Veterinary Nurses.
• Gain hands-on experience across a range of nursing duties while progressing through training.
