Job summary

Connex Education is looking for motivated individuals to join as Unqualified Teaching Assistants in primary schools across Bath. This role offers flexible daily supply work, short-term placements, and longer-term assignments with competitive daily rates and weekly PAYE pay.

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about learning and supporting children's education, with at least 6 months of relevant experience and a willingness to obtain/maintain an enhanced DBS. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience working with children or young people is essential.
• Experience in school, childcare, youth work, coaching, tutoring, or care setting is beneficial.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, adaptable, and professional approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers with classroom activities and learning tasks.
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to encourage participation.
• Assist in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Help prepare classroom resources and learning materials.
• Promote positive behaviour and pupil wellbeing.
• Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development.
• Build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times.
