Job summary

Occuity Ltd. is seeking a Junior Manufacturing Technician to support precision mechanical and optical assembly of advanced medical devices. You will ensure exact alignment of optomechanical subsystems and maintain rigorous documentation in a regulated environment.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong drawing interpretation, and collaboration with engineering and quality teams. Training will be provided, with opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic diagnostics

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical or optical assembly, ideally in regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of optomechanical systems and alignment techniques.
• High level of precision, manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly documentation.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485, GMP and quality documentation practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; mentoring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision mechanical and optical assembly with tight tolerances for medical devices.
• Conduct in-process inspections and verifications to ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate real-time documentation to support traceability.
• Collaborate with engineering and QA to troubleshoot and implement corrective actions.
• Train and mentor new technicians in advanced assembly techniques and SOPs.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
