Job summary

UBT is seeking a Fire Extinguisher Technician to join our field-based engineering team across the South East and broader UK. You will service, install, and maintain essential fire safety equipment on client sites while delivering outstanding service.

Full training is provided. A UK driving licence is essential, and the role includes a company van after training, pension, and a performance bonus with an OTE up to 11%.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the fire safety industry.
• Travelling across the region and client-facing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining fire extinguishers, fire blankets, and hose reels.
• Installing and commissioning new extinguishers, signage, and safety equipment.
• Carrying out fire safety signage surveys.
• Identifying non-compliance and reporting findings clearly.
• Communicating professionally with clients and representing the company.
