Job summary

Academics is recruiting an Inclusion Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Maidenhead, starting September 2026. You will support pupils with SEN through tailored 1:1 and small-group sessions and assist teachers in adapting lessons to meet individual needs.

Qualifications

• Aspiring teacher, educational psychologist, therapist, or SEN professional.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional learning needs.
• Assist the class teacher in adapting lessons to meet individual pupil needs.
• Encourage confidence, independence, and active participation in classroom activities.
• Promote positive behaviour and support pupils' emotional and social development.
• Work closely with the school's SENCO and wider staff to provide consistent, high-quality support.
