Job summary

Protocol Education in Darlington is seeking confident Unqualified Supply Teachers and Cover Supervisors to support local secondary schools. No teaching qualifications required; full training provided; roles can be full-time or part-time.

You will supervise classes, deliver pre-prepared materials, maintain a positive learning environment, and follow school policies. Roles are pre-booked with some same-day work; driving licence beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• No formal teaching qualifications required.
• Ability to supervise KS3/KS4.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes across KS3 and KS4 in the absence of the class teacher.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials provided by teaching staff.
• Maintain a positive, focused, and productive learning environment.
• Ensure students remain engaged and complete the work set.
• Follow school behaviour policies and classroom procedures.
• Build professional relationships with students and colleagues.
