Northumberland County Council is offering a 3-year fixed-term Social Work Degree Apprenticeship in Morpeth. You will be employed as a Social Work Apprentice, gaining hands-on experience inChildren's Social Work while studying for a BA (Hons) Social Work degree with Northumbria University.

On successful completion you can progress to a Social Worker role within the Children’s Social Work Academy after your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE).

Qualifications

• A minimum of 112 UCAS points (or equivalent) for entry.
• English grade C or equivalent before enrolment.

Responsibilities

• Apprenticeship combines paid work with academic study over 3 years.
• Attend university modules and complete placements within Northumberland's Children's Social Work teams.
• On completion, apply for a qualified Social Worker position within the academy and progress to ASYE.
