Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Trainee Biomedical Scientist to join the Haematology and Transfusion team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role is based at King's Mill Hospital, with training leading to HCPC registration.

Candidates must hold an HCPC-accredited Biomedical Sciences degree and are expected to complete the registration portfolio and external assessment during the programme. Interviews are face-to-face.

Qualifications

• HCPC accredited degree required.
• Knowledge of laboratory investigations, COSHH, safety and data handling.
• Willingness to follow in-service training and work in diagnostic labs.

• Work in Haematology and Blood Transfusion and/or Clinical Chemistry departments.
