Qualifications

• Experience in sales within builders merchant industry.

Responsibilities

• Building close relationships with customers to prevent churn.
• Developing a robust sales strategy to identify and convert new opportunities.
• Developing a territory strategy to grow existing business.
• Selling across product ranges and introducing promotions and new lines.
• Negotiating prices and terms to retain customers and hit margin targets.
• Starting and following up quotations for existing/prospective customers.
• Planning daily calls to maximise customer contact and arranging appointments.
• Maintaining calling cycles and productive time to develop business.
• Keeping daily records of calls and information gathered.
