Abacus Careers is recruiting a Senior Audit Manager for a Belfast-based accountancy practice, part of a Top 20 firm network. You will lead audits, mentor staff, and nurture client relationships across Northern Ireland and the UK.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Minimum of 4 years' post-qualified experience within accountancy practice
• Strong audit and accounts experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities
• Commercial awareness with a client-focused approach
• Experience coaching and developing team members

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of audit clients across Northern Ireland and the wider UK
• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Review work completed by Audit Seniors and Junior team members
• Act as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for clients
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
• Collaborate with Partners on advisory projects and business development initiatives
• Drive continuous improvement and help shape a positive team culture
