Job summary

King's College Hospital is seeking a dedicated team member to support the Mortuary and Bereavement Services at Princess Royal University Hospital, Orpington. The role involves assisting in post mortems, recording samples, and coordinating viewings for relatives within a high-quality, on-site service.

You will work under the Service Lead for Mortuary & Bereavement Services and Senior APT, contributing to HTA-compliant standards and continuous service improvement across all areas of mortuary

Qualifications

• Initial training level 3 Diploma encouraged; candidates on course or due to complete are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting post mortems and recording samples for laboratory analysis.
• Handle release and receipt of deceased and organise viewings for relatives.
• Support day-to-day running of the mortuary and work with the Bereavement service team.
