Job summary

GBR Recruitment are partnering with a leading agricultural and groundcare machinery business to recruit five Trainee/Junior Engineers. The program combines classroom learning, practical workshop training, and workplace experience to fast-track you to becoming a certified land-based engineer.

You will learn to service, diagnose and repair tractors, turf machinery and other groundcare equipment, with mentors guiding you as your responsibilities expand. Interviews are immediate.

Qualifications

• GCSEs: Maths, English Language and Science at Grade 4 (C) or above.
• Alternative Qualifications: A Level or another related qualification in engineering.
• Interest and Aptitude: Genuine interest in machinery and engineering, with a desire to learn and develop technical skills.
• Employment experience: Experience in agricultural/mobile plant machinery is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Learn to service, maintain, diagnose and repair agricultural and groundcare machinery.
• Gain hands-on workshop experience alongside qualified technicians.
• Develop skills through depot-based learning and block-release training at specialist centres.
• Receive specialist training in diagnostics, precision technologies and advanced repair techniques.
