Job summary

Oasis Academy Leesbrook in Oldham is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant (Extended Provision) to support teaching staff in the Aspire Centre. The role involves assisting with lesson delivery, preparing resources, and providing pastoral support for students with learning, behavioural, and communication needs.

The position requires 3 GCSEs including English and Maths, plus a Level 3 TA qualification and classroom experience.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English and Maths.
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is required.
• Experience of class supervision and assisting with lesson provision to achieve positive learning outcomes.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to work with staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, preparation and delivery of lessons, both whole class and individual.Prepare resources to support learning activities and ensure student welfare.
• Support progress evaluation and provide feedback to the class teacher to meet learning needs.
