Job summary

Breedon Group in Northern Ireland invites applications for a General Operative at the Cladbeg Asphalt Plant in the Armagh area. You will join the Operations and Maintenance team supporting material testing, plant operations and maintenance.

Candidates should have experience in quarry or construction materials manufacturing. The role offers a permanent full-time contract with 35 days holiday, pension, life cover, and a range of employee benefits including training and progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in quarry or construction materials manufacturing environments.
• Ability to operate plant or machinery in quarry or similar industry.
• Competency to carry out routine basic maintenance.
• Ability to keep plant area clean and organized.

Responsibilities

• Support and train in material testing to standards.
• Assist weighbridge operations and loading shovel tasks.
• Operate asphalt plant and help maintain product quality.
• Ensure environmental standards and prevent spillages.
• Follow health and safety procedures to minimize risk.
• Carry out other duties as required.
