Job summary

Dunbeg Primary School and Early Learning Centre in Oban is recruiting two ASN Assistants to support children with additional learning needs. You will provide individual and small-group support, helping children engage in learning and school life while promoting independence and inclusion.

Working term-time with a supportive team, you will collaborate with teachers to implement agreed strategies, assist with routines, and help with personal care where needed.

Qualifications

• PVG Membership required.
• Patient, caring and approachable with a genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs.
• Good communication, reliability and a flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group support to children with additional needs.
• Assist children with routines, transitions and social interactions.
• Work with teaching and Early Years staff to implement support strategies and access learning activities.
